Stigs and Marcie Blog

They done got names. Now look at 'em.

Sunday, April 23, 2006

Some new possible names include:

Teckla
Momoko
Omar-may-moko
Laserprinter
HP Laser III

Mildred suggests that we should be using this blog to come up with possible name combinations from the existing list, bearing in mind that various sex-combinations could have an effect on the final outcome. For example, a name (first middle last) chosen for one of a set of girl-boy twins would not necessarily be ideal for a same-sex pairing, because it would make the second same-sex name seem like it was a second choice, or an afterthought. So ideally, we should end up with a list in this form:

g1, g2. g3, last
g4, g5, g6, last

b1, b2, b3, last
g7, g8, g9, last

b4, b5, b6, last
b7, b8, b9, last

to allow for various combinations of possibilities.

Dear Scott and Mildred,

You look so happy and beautiful!!! Congratulations! When are the beautiful babies due??

Speaking of babies-my Aunt had a baby yesterday- a little girl named makayla francoias conner. She is 7 lb and a lovely pink. I believe yesterday was also the Queens birthday!

I can't wait to see more photo's. I will think of some possible names soon.

mildred and scott
first, since i haven't had the chance to say it (to mildred)...congratulations!

i see scott everyday and i can tell you from much scrutiny and relentless observation...he hasn't changed at all, physically. you would be hard pressed to know that he was pregnant with twins. in fact he has never looked more fit!

however, he has grown in both leaps and bounds in the "fatherly" arena. i can't eat a sandwich without him wiping my face off between bites, he insists on carrying me up the three flights of stairs to bob burns, has me tucking in my shirt everytime we enter a restaurant, and he's chomping at the bit to tell me about birds and bees. its positively heartwarming!

here, i will offer a few name suggestions:
Diado (this is a really good one, huh?)
Golfen
Laslo
Derrida
Marcel (not Marcal (paper towells))
Merle
Rusty
Skeeter

keegan (not a suggestion)

wow.
Nice mammas mildred!
wowowowowowowww
AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
W.O.W.
that shirt with lines over those curves is what they call OP ART. yessir, it must be. you are WAR mildred, you're amazing!! WOOHOOOOoooo
god bless that guatita.

so here's where your friends come to look smart as they throw in some silly names for the sake of wasting time UH? well son...
what will be the lastname of the creatures, Dolan or Beltre? in any case, one name only is cool.

okay, all this FOR REAL:

call the girl Dislexia and the boy Futuro.
call both boys Gumball, assign numbers to them.
have twin girls called Absynth and Hillary.
for boys: Melmak, Random, Elliot, Sancho and Boner.
for girls: Sue, Fidela, Helen, Marge and Leela.

then you could frankenstein just a bit some normal names and come out with stuff like "Margregret".

gotta give the boy a name that sounds like barking, like dragon growling, like fuking fire, something macho, no silly-sissy names like Todd. Girls must have names that sound good in songs and poems, they gotta rhyme well with preety stuff (no offense but i dare you both to try and rhyme MILDRED with something nice and springy). Do not use object names, like this guy i know called Counter, and please be wise about the international factor: Momoko Dolan sounds like crap. on the other hand, all rules must be broken! call the girl Kuchiyo and the boy Sarten!
Steve Johnson, guru of alternative coolness here in williburgh gave his first son five names, of which i only remember four: Andalou, Corso, Rio & Banana, Johnson DONT GO THERE. Leave that stuff for steve.

call him Turd and let the girl name be Swampy.
best regards and no reply

then again, you could use names of famous people as names for your babies with exquisite results such as Bobdylan Dolan or Catherinezetajones Beltre.

Bravo guys.
